Colin Cowherd: Raiders Need to Save Their Team and Cut Antonio Brown

Oakland Raiders v Arizona Cardinals
Colin Cowherd: “Jon Gruden may very well want to play Antonio Brown, but now you have to protect the team, protect the culture, and protect the other more grown-up players. Oakland is a mess and Pittsburgh is laughing right now. When wide receivers are high maintenance and very dramatic, once they got into the weeds, you can almost never get them back into the fairway. It’s time to cut him because now you have to save the culture. AB is not an employee that takes you from outhouse to the penthouse, and not taking you from 6 wins to 14.” (Full Audio at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he believes the Oakland Raiders need to cut wide receiver Antonio Brown ASA{, as arguably the game’s finest pass-catcher delivered Oakland another devastating PR firestorm on Thursday.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport were putting on a wild fireworks display of breaking news updates on Thursday, dropping news on a bloody battle between Brown and Raiders GM Mike Mayock, over the fallout caused by AB’s Instagram story on Wednesday that exposed an official team letter the Raiders had sent Brown notifying him of a fine he was going to receive for missing team activities.

Both Schefter and Rapoport are reporting the Raiders may look to suspend Brown, to void the over $30 million in guaranteed money he was going to earn.

Colin says the team needs to part ways with Brown NOW and save a fledgling team that Colin believes actually started to play hard for new coach Jon Gruden late last year.

Check out the audio below as Colin says the Raiders need to cleanse themselves of Brown and save the team’s culture and wellbeing going forward.
