Could Oklahoma's Lincoln Riley Become the Next Head Coach of the Cowboys?

Houston v Oklahoma
Jason Smith: “Lincoln Riley is the Pied Piper, he is ‘IT’ in college football. Riley at 35 is earmarked for the National Football League. It’s going to be a feeding frenzy after this year for him and Riley is going to have ANY job he wants. His image is growing, he’s young, and the players relate to him. If you want him, you’re going to have to do more than just interview him, you’re going to have to offer a full court press. If the Cowboys have another year where they underachieve, Jerry Jones is going to say ‘Whatever you want, you’re the Quarterback Whisperer, you’re going to turn Dak into a superstar, and you’re going to be coaching the marquee team in the NFL.’” (Full Audio at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Jason Smith explain why Oklahoma Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley could soon be the top choice of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, if he’s not already, as the 35-year-old who has been the architect of the last two Heisman campaigns of number one picks Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray, shot new Sooners quarterback Jalen Hurts to the stars in their opener versus Houston.

Riley is riding a massive wave of hype in this new age of studly young coaches like Sean McVay, Matt LaFleur and Kliff Kingsbury, and could soon be the next coaching phenom to make the jump to the pros.

Check out the audio below as Jason explains why he thinks Riley is about to become the hottest coaching candidate in football.
