Chris Broussard: “Carmelo Anthony is still better than 2/3’s of the NBA. He’s better than 60-70 percent of the players in the NBA. He’s better than Jared Dudley, he’s better than Danny Green, and he’s better than a lot of these role players who are not only filling rosters, but actually in rotations… The only problem is that he still wants to be a star. Listen to Chris Brossard and Rob Parker discuss Carmelo Anthony’s NBA mortality as the former superstar who was once considered one of the era’s most dangerous scorers, is now seemingly an undesirable eye sore.

The former scoring champion hasn’t played in an NBA game since last November, and has received lukewarm attention at best from teams looking for second unit scoring.

The 35-year-old who was selected in the same draft as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh has publicly lobbied for inclusion back into the league, as the likely Hall of Famer has pleaded for teams to offer him a deal.
