Chris Broussard: Deontay Wilder Was Exposed and Doesn't Know How to Box

Chris Broussard: “I have said this ever since Deontay Wilder became a fixture in the heavyweight division… HE CAN’T BOX. He has that one thing which is that right hand, which is one of the power powerful things we’ve ever seen in boxing that is IT. Luis Ortiz was basically pitching a shutout and Wilder caught him and knocked him out… I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think he will bounce back from this. Listen to Chris Broussard explain why Saturday’s highly anticipated fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury was an extremely revealing and damaging result for Wilder’s future in boxing, and the type of bout that becomes an indictment on a fighter’s legacy.

Fury’s seemingly effortless victory was a surprise to anyone who picked Wilder to win the fight, as the Bronze Bomber was coming in with a 42-0-1 record with 41 knockouts and considered one of the best fighters of his generation.

Seven rounds later and a lot of people are wondering if Wilder is simply a one-trick pony and an ill-equipped boxer who became a victim to meticulous and highly proficient tactician like Fury.

Check out the video below as Broussard details why he’s extremely down on the outlook of Wilder’s career.
