Doug Gottlieb: 'Last Dance' Series Exposed Scottie Pippen as Awful Teammate

Listen to Doug Gottlieb explain why ESPN’s ‘The Last Dance’ documentary has exposed Scottie Pippen as being a ‘terrible teammate’ and ‘selfish player’, as the last few Sundays haven’t exactly shed Pippen in the brighten light.

After the first episode made Pippen into more of a sympathetic figure with the revelations towards Pippen’s staggeringly low contract in the 1990's, the documentary would later cover an instance where Pippen admitted to delaying surgery after the 1996-1997 season because he ‘wanted to have a fun offseason.' Following that story, they would later would retell his infamous rebellion in the 1994 NBA Playoffs when he refused to re-enter a game versus the New York Knicks because he was angry Phil Jackson didn’t call his number on a last second inbounds play that Jackson drew up.

Check out the video above as Gottlieb details why the documentary proved the Bulls front office right in not wanting to lucratively renogiate Pippen’s deal.
