NBA Players Don't Want to Play Alongside LeBron James

Rob Parker: “Nobody wants to play with LeBron. Paul George turned him down twice. Kawhi Leonard would have had an easy street to come to LA to play with AD and LeBron with the Lakers and turned that down. Kyrie Irving won a championship with LeBron and asked for a trade. Nobody wanted to come to Cleveland, which is why he went to Miami. The only star who was able to come play with him was AD, and that was an agent thing. Nobody wants to play with LeBron, and that’s not the case with Michael Jordan, no matter what Channing Frye says. I call him Channing ‘Small’ Fyre because I’m not buying that… LeBron’s minions call him the GOAT, but if you don’t win they call you the SCAPEGOAT, because it’s not going to be LeBron’s fault. So how do you win? If they win it’s about LeBron, if they lose his minions go ‘We’ll he doesn’t have anybody! Look at his teammates, they’re no good! They’re old and tired!’ It’s always about someone else and that’s why it’s not attractive. There is nothing to gain by playing with LeBron.” (Full Audio Above)

Listen to Rob Parker explain why he doesn’t think any NBA stars have wanted to play with LeBron James over the course of his career, pointing at his inability to lure free agents to Cleveland, Kyrie Irving demanding a trade to get away from him, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard passing on signing with the Lakers, and Anthony Davis only coming to LA because he’s a client of Klutch Sports.

Check out the audio above as Rob details why exactly players don’t want to play with LeBron, saying LBJ will get all the credit if they win, and if they lose, his teammates will simply be the scapegoats as being too old and not talented enough to help LeBron win a ring.
