Jason Whitlock: Deion Sanders is Turning Son, Shedeur into Johnny Manziel

Deion Sanders: "We’ve just got to get him a lucrative watch deal. He can’t keep doing it for free. We got to capitalize. He IS my son. We gotta capitalize on the moment, right?”

Jason Whitlock: “Coach Prime is campaigning for his son to get a lucrative deal with a watch company. He's very proud of his son flaunting his wealth in front of other people. The whole ‘in your face’, he’s very proud of it -- and Deion is a ‘great Christian leader!’, he’s an ‘authentic Christian!’, he’s very, very proud of his son flaunting his exorbitant wealth. // They beat Arizona State and he [Shedeur Sanders] runs to the student section; this is all part of his gimmick now -- trash-talking fans and opponents. It's unsportsmanlike but keep in mind, Deion is the great Christian coach that has all the right values and he’s just leading these kids all straight to heaven! Deion is the ultimate role model! He’s basically clapping as his son turns himself into Johnny Manziel, and he’s talking about how proud he is that -- ‘MY SON IS JUST JOHNNY MANZIEL! HE FLAUNTS HIS WEALTH! HE’S AN IN-YOUR-FACE PLAYER!’... Am I just an old man yelling on the lawn right now?”

Steve Kim: “Yeah, which is fine, we should all act our age... but all the Deion jock-sniffers, there’s your video you can do for the day as you glom off of Jason Whitlock. You ought to thank Jason. At the end of the day you all say ‘JASON IS OBSESSED WITH PRIME!’ -- yeah, almost as much as you guys are obsessed with Jason Whitlock, which is the irony. But, yes, you’re right. In college football, taunting, celebrating, and planting flags on other teams’ logos—to me, that’s part of the fun culture of that sport. However, that’s kind of reserved for big games when you actually beat someone that is... I don’t know, GOOD.” (Full Segment Above)

Watch Jason Whitlock and his Fearless co-host Steve Kim discuss why they think Colorado football quarterback Shedeur Sanders could be becoming college football’s next version of Johnny Manziel... and not in the way that made Manziel one of the best college players of the decade.

Check out the segment above as they shed doubt on Shedeur’s arrogant mindset when it comes to beating an underwhelming batch of some of the most mediocre teams in college football.
