“I like Derek Carr but I would take Brock Purdy. He is 23 and inexpensive, Derek Carr is 32 and more expensive. As much as I like Derek, he is 66-81 in his career. “

“Goff, he’s bigger and a better player. Goff leads the NFL in big plays, so he’s not a dink-and-dunk guy. Goff has won a lot of games without having Hall of Famers at every position.”

“Purdy. He’s a more natural thrower. Jordan Love is completing 57% of his throws in 15 starts.”

“Brock Purdy. It’s been established what Kirk is. I like that Purdy has been a very good big-game player. Kirk is 13-41 in his career vs. playoff teams.”

“Matt Stafford. He was the fastest quarterback in league history to 50,000 yards. He still makes throws that Brock Purdy will never make in his entire life.”

“I would take Brock. He’s a more accurate thrower, he’s cheaper, he’s in his prime, and he’s more mobile.”

“C’mon... Herbert. He has more passing yards, touchdowns, and 300-yard passing games than any quarterback, including Mahomes, through his first three years.”
Brock Purdy or Russell Wilson?
“Here’s the problem: the money. I would go Brock. If Brock had the same record in Denver, wouldn’t you draft another quarterback? Russell’s contract is a gigantic chandelier in the room that nobody wants to buy and you have a payment on it. Russell Wilson on the Niners would be a very good quarterback but you have to consider the cap.”

“Brock Purdy. Brock is more athletic than Jimmy G and has a better arm. Garoppolo is not great as a downfield, big-arm guy.”
