Rob Parker Says Lamar Jackson is About to Become the Next Nikola Jokic

Chris Broussard: “If the Ravens lose the first game, the conversation around Lamar will be ‘great regular season quarterback, but can this guy win in the playoffs?' I don’t think he has to get to the Super Bowl to avoid that, but I think he has to get to the conference final. Peyton Manning faced it, a lot of quarterbacks face it until they get it done, but with all of his [Lamar Jackson] accolades, I do think that will be the conversation if they should lose their first playoff game.”

Rob Parker: “I really feel like he [Lamar Jackson] is about to do what we saw with the Joker [Nikola Jokic]. Where people were questioning ‘OH, REGULAR SEASON! DO ALL THAT, YOU’VE HAD NO SUCCESS IN THE POSTSEASON!’... And he put on a historic postseason to remember. That’s what I feel about with Lamar this year. I really believe that he’s come of age, he’s healthy, he doesn’t have to run in every touchdown at the goal line, he doesn't have to do any of that with a capable guy in Edwards to run it in.”

Watch Rob Parker and Chris Broussard on Fox Sports Radio’s The Odd Couple debate what is at stake for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in these upcoming playoffs, as both Parker and Broussard think the narrative of Jackson’s entire career could come down to how the now-favored Ravens fare in the postseason.

Check out the segment above as Parker details why he thinks Lamar could become the NFL’s next Nikola Jokic and truly stamp his legacy as one of the best players of all time with a memorable postseason run that would silence all his critics who declared that he could only perform at a high level in the regular season.
