The Two New Teams Jimmy Garoppolo & Matt Ryan Will Be Playing For Next Year

Doug Gottlieb: “Jimmy Garoppolo is fine – he’s athletic, he’s good looking, and there are times where he looks like ‘The Guy’, but if you’ve watched Kyle Shanahan, he’s grown increasingly frustrated with Jimmy Garoppolo. He’s prone to the big interception and the BIG mistake… The New England Patriots are going to need a quarterback next year. Jimmy Garoppolo used to play for the Patriots and the things that they do and how he plays, they know him and that makes sense… Matt Ryan lacks a big-time arm, and that’s okay because you play in a dome. The other thing other than a dome that hides your arm is playing in good weather. Santa Clara is not ‘San Francisco cold’, but it’s not LA, or Vegas super heat, but think of that division. Seattle is bad weather, San Francisco is not, Arizona is a dome, and LA is a dome. He was the MVP of the league when he played with Kyle Shanahan, and if Shanahan is counting on a quarterback he’s not going to turn to a rookie. The musical chairs feels like this; Jimmy Garoppolo back to New England, and Matt Ryan to San Francisco. In the NFL, as in life, you go where you got somebody who believes in you who has worked with you before.” (Full Segment Above)
