Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre recently voice support for an Illinois bill that would ban tackle football for children under the age of 12 and has hopes to adopt the plan at a National level.
JT thinks this is an important topic but that you can’t learn to play tackle football at 14 and play in college at 17 because there isn’t enough time to properly develop tackle skills to play safely. JT says that he is open to making changes in regulation but you can’t develop kids in such a short amount of time.
