The NCAA has made significant Policy and Rule Changes for College Basketball in hopes of cleaning up the sport.
Among the changes:
- The NCAA’s Board of Governors and Division I Board of Directors voted to allow elite high school basketball recruits and players to be represented by agents who are certified by the NCAA while still playing.
- Players will be allowed to enter the NBA draft and return to school if undrafted.
- There will be more rigorous certification requirements for summer basketball-related events.
- The NCAA says there will now be longer postseason bans, head coach suspensions and increased recruiting restrictions for college coaches who break the rules.
