The Cowboys Accidentally Got Lucky

With Week One of the NFL Preseason in the books, the biggest stories have surrounded all the Rookie Quarterbacks making their debuts. But another developing storyline happened on Saturday Night in Denver as former first round pick Paxton Lynch had another embarrassing performance. Lynch was 6/11 for 22 yards, threw no TD passes and had a measly passer rating of 22. It got so bad that Lynch was booed off the field by his own fans and was outplayed by 7th round pick Chad Kelly. 

What makes the story even crazier is the team that tried to do everything in their power to trade up and take Lynch just two years ago in the NFL Draft. That team was the Dallas Cowboys, who by not doing so wound up with their Franchise Quarterback in Dak Prescott.
