Under Armour has always been a brand lauded for thinking about the box when it comes to their uniform designs, but they’ve really gone full Lil Kim at the 1999 VMA’s with their recent unfurling of Notre Dame’s kits to be worn this Saturday at Yankee Stadium.
The undefeated Irish will take on the no. 12 ranked Syracuse Orange wearing New York Yankee inspired uniforms and accessories. The new kits will feature white pinstripe pants, a Monument Park helmet decal, ‘Notre Dame’ written across their chest in the same cursive the Yankees have notoriously used for a century, jersey numbers that match the font the baseball team has, and gloves & cleats with pinstripes as well.
When Syracuse wins 28-6, we will know why!
