The end came quickly for Peyton Manning and Brett Favre, but will the trend continue for 41-year-old Tom Brady? Jason McIntyre spoke with NFL Insider Ian Rapoport and got his thoughts on the New England Patriots quarterback, and he said the following:
I think with Brady, any time you have a little bit of a dip in performance, you have to ask. The main problem here is you don't get a warning. It just happens so fast and then that's it. I do think it's something worth asking. The main thing for the Patriots is they need to know what they have...If they know Brady is limited, I think they'll spend the bye week figureing it out and then they'll problaby end up being fine because they'll gameplan around it.
Brady's numbers have lacked as of late, and McIntyre says it might be a sign that the 5x Super Bowl Champion is in his final season as a Patriot.
