The Wide Receiver Position Is Overvalued

The Oakland Raiders are being widely applauded for landing star wide receiver Antonio Brown while not giving up any of their best assets: 4 of the top 35 picks in the upcoming NFL Draft. But where the Brown signing will hit them is in the wallet. AB's new contract is worth $50.125 million over three years, with a guaranteed $30.125 million, making him the highest-paid receiver in the league.

Jason McIntyre, who admits Antonio Brown is still one of the top receivers in the league, doesn't believe a signing of this magnitude will be worth the while. Listen as J-Mac explains why Antonio Brown will not live up to the contract he has just received and why the wide receiver position is NOT the key to winning a Super Bowl.

Listen to The Big Lead with Jason McIntyre weekends 10am - 1pm ET!
