Montrezl Harrell Instagram Post Hints at More Blockbuster Moves By Clippers

Well, we all thought it was safe to leave Twitter for the rest of the summer after arguably the greatest free agent signing period in sports history reached its climax, but Los Angeles Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell made a vague and cryptic Instagram story late Tuesday night (IG story has expired) that used terrifying language if you’re a Lakers fan.

Harrell hinted at more moves to come from a Clippers franchise that has the second worst win percentage in NBA history (Minnesota Timberwolves have the worst), but one that may have the most competent owner, general manager, and head coach combination in the sport with Steve Ballmer, Jerry West, and Doc Rivers.

The Clippers went from one of the least successful franchises in the North American sports history, to NBA Finals favorites in the blink of an eye over the holiday weekend with their shocking acquisitions of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, the latter move potentially going down as the most unforeseen trade in modern NBA history.

With the Clippers essentially out of cap space after signing Kawhi to a three-year, $103.1 million deal Wednesday and the team having traded away all future first round picks for the next 7 years in the Paul George trade, you have to wonder what Harrell meant.
