Tomi Lahren & Arian Foster Debate Colin Kaepernick's Nat'l Anthem Kneeling

Tomi Lahren: “What bothered me is that it's showing disrespect to the National Anthem and the flag that means a lot to people, whether they are black, white, Christian, Jewish, or Atheist, it doesn’t matter. That flag and that anthem mean something. When your fellow soldier comes home underneath a flag and then you see someone during the National Anthem kneeling, it’s an emotional trigger.”
Arian Foster: “It’s an illogically inconsistent stance on the NFL’s part. If you wanna say ‘Don’t make political statements on the field’ then don’t have the military fly over at the beginning, or don’t have a deal with them at the Department of Justice that has millions of dollars advertised in the military. It’s illogically inconsistent. The NFL is emotionally driven, reactionary, and not proactive.”

Former All-Pro NFL running back Arian Foster sat down for a candid interview with Fox News political analyst Tomi Lahren regarding perhaps the NFL’s most divisive topic in its history.

Foster, a four-time Pro Bowler who twice led the league in rushing, has been one of the more vocal progressives in the world of athletics and was one of the many NFL players who notably knelt for the National Anthem during the 2016 season. Lahren has risen to prominence in the political spectre for her outspoken conservative opinions and is one of the most recognizable faces at Fox.

Check out the interview below as the two discuss Colin Kaepernick’s notorious incident on September 1st, 2016, when he knelt for the National Anthem during San Francisco’s final preseason game, which triggered a brutal battle between players, owners, and fans regarding the morality of the protest and the concept behind it.
