Greg Jennings: NFL Fans Only Treat Players as Fantasy Football Commodities

Colin Cowherd: “When you were playing in the NFL, did you feel at the end of your career that you could sense fans saw you as just a commodity they could bet on?”
Greg Jennings: “Absolutely, I HATED Fantasy Football. All the fans cared about was ‘You killed it in Fantasy for me!’ or ‘You suck in fantasy!’ And what I wanted to say as a rebuttal is ‘I DON’T CARE’. Like this is my livelihood and this is a game and fantasy for them.”

Listen to former NFL wide receiver Greg Jennings join The Herd to touch on New York Jets running back Le’Veon Bell recently ‘apologizing’ to all his Fantasy Football owners who drafted him last season only to realize he wasn’t going to appear in a single game.

Jennings, who was a two-time Pro Bowler for the Green Bay Packers in 2010 and 2011, and had three-straight 1,000-yard seasons from 2009-2011, says he HATED Fantasy Football because of the constant back-and-forths he would have with NFL fans who only wanted to talk about how Jennings was affecting his/her fantasy team.

Check out the audio below as Jennings tells Colin Cowherd that football fans have a problem with only treating NFL players as Fantasy Football commodities.
