Ben Simmons Dunks Over Child During Charity Basketball Event

People have long questioned Philadelphia 76ers superstar point guard Ben Simmons’ scoring ability, but the 23-year-old annihilated some kids at a charity event in Melbourne on Wednesday, as the young Australian player balled out at a Helping Hoops charity basketball game.

Simmons posted the story to his official Instagram page, with a couple videos and pictures of Simmons talking and mentoring a group of kids at the event, but even added some actual game footage.

In one now-infamous clip that would have have gotten its footage whitewashed from a LeBron James camp, Simmons is seen dribbling the ball around the half-court line appearing to be setting up the offense but then blows past his prepubescent defender, before splitting defenders at the left elbow, and then exploding to the right blocks and dunking with his left hand over a ‘challenging’ children's defender.

In the next Instagram story, Simmons lets a different kid have a free block attempt on him near the basket but the result is still the same, as the 6’10” Simmons makes a poster out of the young boy.

Luckily none of the kids in attendance challenged Simmons to a game of horse.
