Why Kyler Murray is Going to Dominate the NFL From Day One

Colin Cowherd: “Last year, Peter Schrager said Patrick Mahomes was going to blow up the league, and Peter was right… Okay, Pete, who is the young breakout star this year in the NFL??”
Peter Schrager: “I’ve been around and been talking to everybody and my phone does not stop lighting up about Kyler Murray. I think Kyler Murray is going to be a sensation in this league from day one. Everything that I’m hearing is that Kyler is going to light this league on fire.”

Listen to Fox Sports NFL insider Peter Schrager explain to Colin Cowherd why he thinks Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray is going to dominate the NFL from day one, as the former Heisman-winning quarterback from Oklahoma is one of the most intriguing rookies in NFL history.

Murray is expected to start in the NFL in Week 1 and lead an Arizona offense that was one of the worst in the league last season, behind an offensive line that was one of the worst of the decade.

Scharager, however, believes Murray’s skill sets as an accurate-passing scrambler paired with Kliff Kingsbury offense and the NFL’s overall sympathy for passing regarding its rules, makes Murray a can’t-miss phenom who is ready to light the league on fire the same way Patrick Mahomes did last season for the Kansas City Chiefs.
