The Saints Are Screwed Without Drew Brees

Drew Brees left Sunday's game against the Rams with an injury and if rumors are to be believed, he could be out for a while. Ben Maller says the outlook isn't good for the Saints if what we saw on Sunday is what we can expect from Teddy Bridgewater.

"Sean Payton ended up agreeing to a contract extension with New Orleans over the weekend, which was tremendous timing. If Saints ownership had watched New Orleans' Offense without Drew Brees and looked at how that went, I certainly would have been wise to hold off on signing the extension. My god was that horrific. With Drew Brees knocked out early, we saw the return of the team I recall when I was younger, 'The aints.' Cause they played like the 'aints.' On offense, the boys from the Bayou were all over the place and not in a good way.
The Rams controlled the game. Teddy Bridgewater played as if he had been pulled out of the crowd just before kick-off. It's like he didn't practice with the team at all."

Listen above to Ben lay waste to Bridgewater & tune in LIVE on weekdays 2-6am ET
