Colin Cowherd: Dallas Cowboys Will Never Win a Super Bowl With Dak Prescott

Colin Cowherd: “You can win divisions and you can win games, but to get into the trophy room of the Super Bowl it is overwhelmingly done with unique and special Hall of Fame talents. That Dallas and Green Bay game had two different levels of quarterbacks: one has already won a trophy, and may win another, and the other has won divisions. Dak is a franchise quarterback and has a lot of qualities I like, but the film doesn’t lie and your eyes don’t lie. When you put him next to Aaron Rodgers, one is a trophy room guy, and the other is a guy with the top offensive line and the best running back who can win games in the division. Dak is not a ‘blank check guy’ and there’s only about 5-8 on the planet. He’s a ‘write a check to him guy’. $27.5 million? I’ll sign him. $35 million? I’ll draft another.” (Full Video at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott’s future earnings are plummeting a day after the Cowboys were blown out by the Packers on Sunday Night Football in a game Dallas once trailed 31-3 late in the third quarterback.

Since flying out to an MVP start the first three weeks of the season, against doormats Washington, Miami, and the New York Giants, Dak has free fallen back towards earth against NFC juggernauts New Orleans and Green Bay. Dak failed to throw for a touchdown in an airball performance in the Superdome last week, and put up an ugly 27.1 QBR at home versus the Packers last night.

The free agent to-be is reportedly seeking a new contract worth $35+ million a year.

Check out the video below as Colin explains why he thinks Dak is a franchise quarterback, but a guy who isn’t capable of leading a team to a Super Bowl.
