Colin Cowherd Predicts 2-5 Cleveland Browns Will Make Playoffs

Colin Cowherd: “Baker Mayfield has had an absolutely disastrous season but let’s be honest; Mayfield is about to win a bunch of games as I predicted. I’ll stand by my initial prediction, which is Cleveland goes 9-7. Look at the Browns schedule. I’ll make my prediction in order. They’ll beat Denver, Pittsburgh, Miami, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Arizona, and Cincinnati. Guess what that turns out to be? 9-7. They’ll face six backup quarterbacks in 9 games and the other three quarterbacks they face are Kyler Murray, Lamar Jackson, and Josh Allen; KIDS who are prone to mistake. Cleveland’s defensive front is going to dominant several months of football versus backup quarterbacks… November 10th, Cleveland hosts Buffalo – if they win that game they’re going to be a Wild Card team.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd map out a road to the playoffs for the pathetic 2-5 Cleveland Browns who are arguably the most disappointing team in the NFL, just a couple months after fans and media pundits alike were touting them as a darkhouse Super Bowl team.

Despite the Browns unraveling every week not only on the field, but off it as well, with Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr., and Freddie Kitchens saturating the headlines with illogical dramatics, Colin points to Cleveland boasting one of the league’s worst schedules down the stretch.

Even though they’re three games under .500, the Browns will face Joe Flacco-less Denver this week, then play the suddenly struggling Bills at home, then play the harmless Steelers and winless Dolphins at home, then Pittsburgh again, then winless Cincinnati, erratic Arizona on the road, Baltimore at home, then another bout with 0-8 Cincy on the road.

What does that mean? A 9-7 record, which will likely earn a Wild Card spot in a weak AFC.
