Anthony Davis on Playing For Bulls: "I'm a Free Agent Next Year, We'll See"

Could the unthinkable happen this upcoming summer for the Los Angeles Lakers?

On Tuesday, Anthony Davis spoke in front of several students and was asked by one student whether or not he would could consider the Chicago Bulls in free agency. Davis had once answer and that anything could happen between now and the end of the year:

“I mean, I am a free agent next year ... but we will see.”

The big man was named Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday. Davis averaged 32 points, 13 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game over the past week.

That includes a 40-point, 20-rebound performance in the 120-91 win over the Memphis Grizzlies that Davis got whatever he wanted against the young Memphis frontcourt, going 26-for-27 from the free-throw line.

The Lakers won all three games they played last week and have now gotten off to a 5-1 start, the best record in the Western Conference, with AD and LeBron James leading the charge.
