Colin Cowherd presents his three best college football bets for Week 13 (November 21st) (Full Video at Bottom of Page)
In this week’s installment of Colin Cowherd's MARQUEE THREE, Colin is setting his sights on #8 Penn State at #2 Ohio State, #13 Michigan at Indiana, and UCLA at #23 USC.
(8) Penn State at (2) Ohio State – (Spread: OSU -19)
"I'm going to take Penn State +19 to keep it relatively close. The last three games in this series have been decided by one point, one point, and three points, and Penn State can move the football. Penn State ranks Top 15 in scoring offense and scoring defense... So does Ohio State but I'm getting 19 points! Penn State is 2-1 versus ranked teams this year and Ohio State goes to Michigan next week. They struggle EVERY year before the Michigan game. Penn State has a good coach, weapons on the outside, and James Franklin is a world-class recruiter. Ohio State is the better team but I'm taking the points."
COLIN'S PICK: Ohio State 33, Penn State 23. Penn State +19.
(13) Michigan at Indiana – (Spread: MICH -9.5)
"I'm going to take Minnesota +9.5 and I wouldn't be shocked if they won the game too. Michigan has been 4-8 against the spread the last 12 years in their game right before the Ohio State. Indiana has a REAL offense, folks, and if you look at points per game, total yards, and yards per play, Indiana is better than Michigan in all three. they've scored 27 or more in six straight games. If you just look at the numbers, Indiana can go toe to toe offensively with Michigan and score. This game to them is their bowl game. I think Michigan wins it but has to come from behind to do so."
COLIN'S PICK: Michigan 27, Indiana 23. Indiana +9.5.
UCLA at (23) USC – (Spread: USC -14)
"I'm taking USC and swallowing the 14 points. The Trojans have dominated this series at the Coliseum, winning 9 of the last 10 versus UCLA, and 8 of those by double-digits. UCLA is 3-17 in their last 20 road games and 0-3 this year against teams currently ranked. UCLA is a one-dimensional offense who can't throw the ball. USC can still win the Pac-12 South and this is USC's last game potentially under Clay Helton. Will they play to fight for his job? I think USC rolls over a completely rebuilding UCLA roster."
COLIN'S PICK: USC 36, Minnesota 16. USC -14.
