Jonas Knox explains why the Pac-12 was destined to miss the College Football Playoff since the beginning of the season. Jonas looks at Oregon's early loss to Auburn and begs for Power 5 teams to stop scheduling other Power 5 teams to start the season. Jonas acknowledges that Oregon's current performance on the field more than qualifies them as a playoff team, but their early season loss to Auburn coupled with their late season loss to Arizona State dampens their resume too heavily, destroying the Pac-12's only real shot at making the playoff (save a Utah win in the Pac-12 Championship Game, of course).
