Clay Travis: Iconic Run By Patrick Mahomes Ended the Titans Run

Clay Travis is left wondering what could have been with his Tennessee Titans, as they failed to finish strong in the first half of the AFC Championship game. Clay was most impressed with Kansas City's star QB Patrick Mahomes, who led the Chiefs to a huge win against the Titans, sending Andy Reid's squad to the Super Bowl (ending a 50 year drought.)

The biggest, most exciting play of the game came right before the end of the first half. Patrick Mahomes scrambled out of the pocket, ran down the sideline and rather than step out of bounds, he made several wanna-be Titan tacklers look silly, eventually falling into the end zone after a spin move. Clay believes that this amazing 27 yard TD run (thanks to bad tackling) combined with the Titans conservative play calling before the end of the first half, is what sent Tennessee home.

The Chiefs took a 21-17 point lead into the locker room and never looked back. This TD run will certainly go down in history for the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes, especially if Kansas City can beat the 49ers in Miami to win Super Bowl 54.
