LeBron James is Cementing His Legacy Over Kobe Bryant

On today's edition of The Odd Couple, Chris Broussard and Rob Parker discuss LeBron James passing Kobe Bryant in points and cementing his legacy as a better player. Chris says this is huge because the debate started from the very beginning of LeBron’s career and they were never able to meet in the finals. Both Chris and Rob think LeBron is a better player than Kobe. Chris says while Kobe was a great scorer, LeBron is clearly the favorite because he’s about to pass Kobe in his specialty of scoring and LeBron can do so much more, citing assists and defense as well. The guys also say ex NBA players have always said they would take Kobe over LeBron strictly because of his killer mentality. Rob says you can’t discount Kobe having the all-time great Shaquille O'Neal on his team. The guys also say Michael Jordan never had a Shaquille O’Neal either, and if Jordan had someone like Shaq he may not be considered the outright GOAT. Chris also says LeBron will never top Jordan in championships, but he can top him in statistical numbers.
