NFL Week 8 is almost in the books, and Clay Travis is reacting to a Sunday filled with upsets, and a big AFC North battle. The powerful Packers got beat at home on a windy day in Green Bay by a Minnesota Vikings team that came in with just one win. The once unbeaten Tennessee Titans got dominated by Joe Burrow and his underdog Cincinnati Bengals, who also had only one victory. Meanwhile the Pittsburgh Steelers were able to remain undefeated as they went on the road and held on to beat the Baltimore Ravens.
The NFL picture seems to be getting clearer, and Clay believes that he can no longer trust the Titans and the Packers, two teams that have been featured in his NFL top 5 this season. For the Titans, their problem is on the defensive side of the ball. They are atrocious on 3rd down, and they allowed the Bengals to convert all day long and could not get their defense off the field.
The Packers were not much better defensively on Sunday, as Dalvin Cook had a monster game against them with 4 touchdowns. Green Bay's offense failed to get going down the stretch, and the Vikings, a team who had yet to get on track this season, dominated the second half.
