Clay Travis: A 17 Yard Punt Is So Titans It Hurts

Clay Travis was in attendance for Thursday Night Football between the Titans and Colts in Nashville. This morning, he is still hot about the Titans' performance, especially in the kicking game. Clay regrets going back on his word, after swearing last year that he would never attend a game against the Indianapolis Colts ever again (as they've dominated Tennessee.)

A turning point in last night's game came right after the Titans stopped the Colts on 4th and goal. It seemed like things had shifted in the Titans favor, but then the Titans new punter Trevor Daniel shanked one, and the punt traveled a mere 17 yards. The Colts got the ball inside the 30 yard line and scored a few plays later, thanks to the terrible punt, which Clay says was the difference maker.

Later, the Titans had a punt blocked that was recovered and returned for a touchdown, but the 17 yard punt is what really changed the game, and it's what really has Clay still in disbelief this morning. Clay claims that he'd be up for a challenge to prove that he can punt just as well as the wobbly kick from Daniel.

How is it even possible for a professional football player to punt a ball 17 yards? Clay is fired up.
