'Front-runner' Lamar Jackson Only Looks Good Against Terrible Teams

Ben Maller: “Have the Ravens fixed their myriad of problems? You can’t take anything away from playing an inferior opponent. We already knew the Ravens can beat up on crap teams… When you read the book about the Ravens quarterback, this is one of the great front-runners in sports today. There are only a handful of quarterbacks who do better against the doormats of the NFL than Lamar Jackson. I can’t think of any player more synonymous with feasting on inferior teams. When he plays defenses like the Dallas Cowboys, who aren’t even really trying, he plays like a yeti, and he’s like an abominable snowman. He runs like a speed demon, leaps over defenders like a superhero, amd he’s like at a track meet jumping over hurdles; it’s the stuff of legends. The problem is that when he plays a better team then he’s got problems… You don’t play the Cowboys in the playoffs… They close out with Jacksonville, the Giants, and at Cincinnati. Lamar Jackson is licking his chops thinking about feasting on all those delicious ding dongs at the end of the season. ” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Ben Maller explain why he thinks Lamar Jackson is one of the biggest ‘front-runners’ in professional sports, as Maller believes Jackson can only play like an MVP when he’s playing the dregs of the NFL.

Check out the video above as Maller details why Lamar makes a habit out of feasting on inferior teams like the Cowboys, Bengals, and Texans and then doesn’t show up against AFC juggernauts like the Chiefs, Steelers, and Titans.
