Michigan Out, Clay Travis Proposes Showdown Between Ohio State & Texas A&M

The 2020 college football season has been crazy to say the least, and this week will be no different. One of the best rivalry games in all of college football will not be played this season because of positive COVID cases for the Michigan Wolverines. This leaves Ohio State in a tricky spot, because without this game, Ohio State will not have competed in 6 Big Ten games this season, leaving them ineligible to play in the Big Ten Championship Game.

This 6 game rule is potentially being changed, but Clay Travis is arguing that Ohio State should be playing Texas A&M this weekend. The Aggies are also dealing with a cancelled game this week, as Ole Miss is unable to play too.

Both teams are in the top 5 of the rankings, and the winner of this game would more than likely find themselves in the College Football Playoff. Ohio State is 5-0, but their schedule has been weak. Texas A&M has had a solid year, but a loss to Alabama is preventing them from playing in the SEC Championship. A win for A&M against Ohio State, along with their win against Florida, would go a long way for the Aggies and their playoff hopes.
