Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why Jerry Jones has the Dallas Cowboys positioned towards a ‘half-decade’ of futility if he doesn’t purge one of the league’s worst payrolls.
Dallas sits at 3-9 on the season with a -125 point differential as arguably the league’s biggest disaster. Getting blown out by the Washington Football Team on Thanksgiving, and then by the Ravens on ‘Tuesday Night Football’ is one thing, but then getting flexed off Sunday Night Football in place of the Giants and BROWNS is a whole new low.
Dallas’ payroll is a mess, with underachieving and uninterested Amari Cooper, Ezekiel Elliott, Demarcus Lawrence, and Jaylon Smith eating up their cap number.
The Cowboys would currently be sitting in the number 5 slot of the 2021 NFL Draft, and Colin believes the team should look to take a quarterback with that pick, potentially it being a Trey Lance, or Zach Wilson.
Check out the video above as Colin says the rebuild needs to start NOW, before the Cowboys not only continue to lose, but become Jerry’s worst nightmare -- IRRELEVANT.
