Jason Smith: “Watch out for the involvement from the Warriors to go get James Harden. They have what it takes to make it happen. They would trade Andrew Wiggings and James Wiseman in a second in a centerpiece for James Harden. This might be the Rockets’ best way to go if you make the salaries match. You get a really good scorer in Andrew Wiggins, who is still only 25, and Wiseman who was the number one overall pick. You throw in draft picks and that is CLEARLY a deal that can get done, and would vault the Warriors into contention in the Western Conference. Harden would be in a great and player-friendly atmosphere, and would be like ‘wait, this is how you run an NBA franchise??’ Steve Kerr has his players’ backs and he’s the best coach in the NBA we’ve seen in 15 years… This becomes the must-see backcourt in the NBA. This will work because Steph Curry can easily play off the ball. He’s the most unselfish superstar in the league, and that’s one thing I don’t give Curry enough credit for.” (Full Audio Above)
Listen to Jason Smith explain why he thinks a James Harden to Golden State trade is imminent, as Jason believes the Warriors have enough firepower to offer the Rockets a type of blockbuster deal that could potentially put the Warriors back into title contention in the wake of Klay Thompson’s second consecutive season-ending injury.
Check out the audio above as Jason details why he thinks the Rockets could be winners in this as well.
