Bills at Broncos (SPREAD: BUF -6)

“I am going to take Denver +6. I am concerned about Denver's injuries at cornerback, but this is a perfect letdown spot for Buffalo. It’s Josh Allen’s first trip to Mile High, the Bills have just been in several big and emotional wins, and now they go West for their second cross-country trip in the past few weeks. Denver has a really good defensive coach, and Josh Allen can make mistakes. Denver's defense is top 10 in everything that matters – top 2 in passing touchdowns allowed, and top 7 in sacks. Drew Lock the past couple of weeks appears, and I don’t love him, to have at least STABILIZED. The Broncos are the second best ‘Against the Spread’ bet in the league to Miami. Buffalo is so well-coached and probably figures out a way to win, but I’m taking the points with Denver, 26-23 Bills.”

Colin's pick: Denver +6

Patriots at Dolphins (SPREAD: MIA -1.5)

“I am going to take Miami -1.5. Here’s what I hear: ‘WHAT ABOUT TUA AGAINST BELICHICK??’ What about Cam Newton against THIS defense, which to me is the first or second best defense in the NFL. Miami is 2nd in points allowed per game, 2nd in takeaways, 3rd down defense they're 1st, and opponents’ passer rating they're 3rd. What about Cam with no weapons against THAT?? Brian Flores is the perfect coach for Tua in this game because young quarterbacks struggle agasint Belichick, but Flores is going to go ‘KID, I WAS WITH HIM FOR SEVEN YEARS, THIS IS WHAT YOU’RE GOING TO SEE!’ Tua doesn’t make mistakes. He may not have the talent of a Josh Allen, or a Joe Burrow, or a Justin Herbert, but he doesn’t make any mistakes. He has 9 TD’s and 1 pick this year, and he’s very safe. I get a better team, I get a better defense, I get a great young coach, and I get a team playing for more. Miami wins this game 24-20, and we all know the Patriots stink late in the year in Miami.”

Colin's pick: Miami -1.5

Seahawks at Washington (SPREAD: SEA -6.5)

“I’m going to take Washington. The line has moved quite a bit but I’m going to take Washington +6.5. The Seahakws the last 9 games have only covered the spread 3 times. Why? THEY’RE OVERVALUED. Seattle's offensive line is the weak point, and the defensive line for Washington is the strength. I think this game gets really ugly. I think this game is also about Ron Rivera. Early in the year he was taking cancer treatments, and the energy was different. He’s out of that, he’s more robust and dynamic, and his team is now on a 4-game winning streak. During that streak they’re number one in the league in point differential, and number two in turnover differential. Ron Rivera is now WORKING. In their 4-game winning streak they’re only allowing 14 points a game. They’ve also got 4 players with 5 sacks, it’s not just Chase Young. I think the Washington defensive front against Seattle’s ultimate liability makes for a low scoring and very ugly game. Russell Wilson figures out how to win these East Coast games late, Seattle wins 21-20, but I like Washington and the points here.”

Colin's pick: Washington +6.5

Eagles at Cardinals (SPREAD: ARI -6.5)

“I told you last week to bet LESS on the Giants and Arizona game, and that it was my least favorite pick. This is my LEAST FAVORITE PICK too, so bet LESS, but I’m going to take Arizona -6.5 at home against Philadelphia and here’s why. If you look at what Philadelphia did last week to New Orleans, the Saints were guessing and had no idea what they were going to get. Arizona knows exactly what they’re going to get with Jalen Hurts because they see it every day in practice with a better version called KYLER MURRAY. They’re very used to practicing with and seeing a highly athletic quarterback. Philadelphia allows quarterbacks that run to have success. Philadelphia’s defense has only four picks all year. Translation? Kyler Murray will be comfortable. Vegas likes Philadelphia, but Arizona is becoming very easy to predict. When Kyler is healthy and can run they beat the Bills. They’re GOOD, and they dominated the Giants. Kyler is healthy and he’s going to be moving. I like them here against Philadelphia to win and cover, 28-20.”
Colin's pick: Arizona -6.5

Chiefs at Saints (SPREAD: KC -3.5)

“Like it? I LOVE IT. Saints is my bet of the week. The line is going to be all over the place. I bet it Monday and got the Saints at +4. Brees was named the starter and the number will probably come crashing down and you won’t get the number I got, but I got Saints +3.5 now and I love the pick. First of all, right now the Chiefs red zone defense is NOT GOOD. The Chiefs red zone offense is NOT GOOD. What does that tell me? The Chiefs are allowing touchdowns, not field goals on defense, and they’re scoring more field goals than touchdowns on offense. The Saints defense is one of two – the Rams the other – allowing less than 300 yards a game. This Saints defense is really the story of this team, it’s not Sean Payton and it’s not Drew Brees. This is a great roster, a great defense, and Drew Brees was 'always' ready to play this week, Kansas City was preparing for Taysom Hill, and then ‘UH-OH’, he’s not gonna play. I like the Saints, still fighting for the number one seed to win it, 28-27.”
Colin's pick: New Orleans +3.5
