Steelers Franchise Has Become Synonymous With Underachieving

Colin Cowherd: “We always mock the Dallas Cowboys, but what has Pittsburgh done in the last decade?? They’ve had 20 different players make the Pro Bowl in the last decade. New England has 19! New England has 16 playoff wins and the Steelers have THREE. It’s been a decade of ‘brand’ over 'reality', underachieving, and disappointment. In the last ten years they have no Super Bowls, three playoff wins, and only two wins against the New England Patriots dynasty. Their three playoff wins were over AJ McCarron, Matt Moore, and Alex Smith, and in one of them they didn’t even score a touchdown. They LOST playoff games to Tim Tebow and Blake Bortles. In the last decade THIRTEEN teams have more playoff wins. What have they been the last decade??” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks the Pittsburgh Steelers have low-key flown under the radar as arguably the most disappointing and underachieving NFL team of the decade, as Colin points out that they have won just three playoff games the last 10 years despite having more Pro Bowl players than New England over that same time span.

Check out the video above as Colin details why we always tend to pay way more attention to ‘brand’ than ‘reality.’
