Ezekiel Elliott Deal Was Cowboys Biggest Contract Blunder, Not Dak Prescott

Clay Travis is reacting to a story that he thought would never end. The Dallas Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott have finally agreed to a long-term deal, and it makes Dak the second highest paid quarterback in the NFL behind Patrick Mahomes.

The deal is worth up to a whopping $164 million, for 4 years. Clay Travis says good for Dak. Prescott had been playing for pennies essentially, due to his 4th round draft selection status, but now he will be paid amongst the highest in NFL history.

Although many are arguing that Dak is being wildly overpaid, Clay believes that this deal for Dak isn't nearly as bad as the deal that the Cowboys gave to running back Ezekiel Elliott. Since Zeke got his big money, he hasn't been nearly the same player, and the running back position in general, with the exception being Derrick Henry, is one that teams really shouldn't be throwing lots of money at.
