The NFL Draft is now a wrap, but the story of the weekend in all of sports was Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Reports surfaced on the same day as the draft, claiming that Aaron Rodgers is essentially done with Green Bay. Last year, the Packers traded up in the first round to select Jordan Love, which was ironically the first time they've ever taken an offensive player in the first round in the past 10 years.
Clay Travis believes the Packers felt Aaron Rodgers' skills would be on the decline. Instead, Rodgers had one of the best years of his career and was league MVP. Now the Packers find themselves in a bad spot because they bet wrong on number 12. Their star quarterback seems like he is done with the Packers and would like to end his career in similar fashion to Tom Brady.
What can the Packers do at this point to save the relationship? Clay has the answer, and a destination for Aaron if the Packers don't fall all over him to mend things.
This story is one that could change the trajectory of the whole season, especially if, as Clay predicts, Aaron Rodgers is playing under center for a certain Mile High squad next season.
