Debunking All Arguments Against the College Football Playoff Expansion

Jason Smith and Mike Harmon poke holes in the arguments against the 12-team College Football Playoff:

"You water down the field." - You're adding 8 teams, not 40. The resume of the teams you're adding are largely the same as some of the teams who are in the top 4.

"Regular season won't mean as much." - There's 5-10 big games every week involving top teams. There's only 6 wildcard slots, not 20. You still have to win.

"It Ruins the Bowl System." - Just like MLB and NBA All-Star game, the bowls have had their heyday. You just want to slow the descent of their importance to a drip to squeeze whatever you can out of them.
