The Odd Couple's with Chris Broussard is not exactly pumped up for the NFL Thanksgiving slate because of one team, the Detroit Lions. Broussard just doesn't think the Lions should be playing on Thanksgiving. With the whole country watching, Chris wonders why such a historically bad team is continually being celebrated?
Chris Broussard: I'm going to be honest...as a kid I was always wondered, 'Why the hell in the world are the Detroit Lions always playing on Thanksgiving?'...They don't put the good teams on on Thanksgiving! And I'm going to say this Rob, I don't care that it was the Lions' owner's idea in 1934 to play on Thanksgiving. I don't care if the owner of the Lions invented Thanksgiving!..."
