In the video above, Chris Broussard & Rob Parker discuss their biggest takeaways from the Buffalo Bills losing to the New England Patriots. Parker highlights how the Patriots were able to play smashmouth offense and do next to no throwing of the football. Whether Bill Belichick was protecting his rookie quarterback from dealing with the challenging winds in Buffalo or simply applying the best strategy, Parker makes the point that Belichick was putting on a statement game. Rob thinks Belichick's offense was a shot at Tom Brady and all the people who felt Brady was the major reason Patriots won so many Super Bowls.
Rob Parker: "Bill Belichick made the ultimate statement last night. He said '**** Tom Brady! I don't need a damn quarterback! I can win with anybody!' He turned back the clock. They was running with a pigskin out there! That's how old-school football it was. My TV automatically turned to black and white while I was watching this game. I had to put some aluminum foil on the antenna so it would come in clearer. He said, 'I don't need Tom Brady. They said it was about Brady! BLANK Brady! I don't care who the quarterback is! I'm a damn good coach. I can coach defense! I can run the football. I always have a great kicker. That's why I have six Super Bowls. I could've plugged anybody in Brady's spot and still won Super Bowls! Mac Jones, Tom Jones, it doesn't matter who's quarterback!'"
