Thursday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox and LaVar Arrington give credit to the NFL for turning what was once a sure-thing, meaningless play, into what is now must-watch football.
Jonas Knox: "I got to give credit where credit is due. I hated the extra point being moved back. I just didn't get it. Like, why waste you time on something like this... It's completely changed the game. It's completely changed the strategy of the game. It's completely put kickers on notice to where they've had full blown meltdowns about kicking a 33-yarder. I mean it has completely changed the game and now we're seeing it's at historic low levels heading into this late in the season. Credit where credit is due. They took a meaningless play that everybody just assumed was going to go one way, and they've now made you want to stick around and watch how it goes based on how this thing has played out over the last couple of years."
