Today on “Straight Outta Vegas with RJ Bell,” RJ Bell, AJ Hoffman and MacKenzie Rivers react to the news that Suns G Chris Paul will likely miss the remainder of the regular season with an injury. Even with Paul’s injury, the Suns remain the favorites to finish at the top of the Pacific Division and win the NBA Title.
RJ Bell: “Here’s the key, Phoenix has such a nice lead in the West right now. So, this might actually help them in the long run, because it may just turn into Chris Paul gets a few weeks off down the stretch to help prime the Suns for the playoffs.”
MacKenzie Rivers: “If you look at the odds to win the Pacific Division, it’s still very unlikely that the Suns fall below the #1 spot. Phoenix is still -700 to be above the Warriors, who are in second place in the division, at the end of the season. The Suns are still 6.5 games up right now.”
