Draft Picks Won’t Help Aaron Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers traded WR Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders and all they got in return was a couple of draft picks. Tom Brady is actively recruiting guys like Julio Jones to Tampa, and Dan thinks Rodgers needs to follow suit.

Dan Patrick: “The Packers receive a first-round pick and a second-round pick in this year’s draft, and they get Davante Adams. Draft picks aren’t going to help Aaron Rodgers because Green Bay doesn’t use first-round draft picks on wide receivers... Aaron Rodgers may have to get out on the recruiting trail. This is what Tom Brady does. Tom Brady’s picking up the phone trying to get Julio Jones to go to Tampa.”
