Monday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, LaVar Arrington called it early, the Lakers were on a downward trend and destined to miss the playoffs for the second time in LeBron's stint in Los Angeles. Even considering their Championship in the Bubble, LaVar, Brady and Jonas consider his time with the Purple and Gold a failure.
LaVar Arrington: "A lot of people will hold him accountable for this season even though he's played well, because there's the whole idea that he builds the teams..."
Jonas Knox: "If what happened in Miami was considered a disappointment, what the hell do you call this? Missing the playoffs twice, a Bubble Boy Championship and a first round exit last year in the postseason... I think Lakers fans have turned on him. This has been a failure."
Brady Quinn: "I don't know that they ever embraced him in the first place."
