Today on Straight Outta Vegas with RJ Bell, RJ and Mackenzie Rivers preview a highly anticipated series for the opening round of the NBA Playoffs! The Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics are set to battle it out this Sunday and the guys discuss the initial opening line for the rematch, followed by the adjusted line after initial bets were made following Brooklyn's play-in win against the Cavaliers on Tuesday night.
RJ Bell: "The odds opened up with Brooklyn favored. A small favorite, and then boom, boom, a fist of cash is pounded on the table and comes flowing in on Boston. Then, very quickly Boston became the favorite. So, initially Boston is getting plus money because Brooklyn is favored, then oddsmakers said, 'Whoa, we're getting way too much on Boston. Let's make Boston less of an underdog. Let's make them the favorite...' So, Mackenzie will you share the current line for the Boston vs Brooklyn series?"
Mackenzie Rivers: "Celtics are now the favorite and are a minus -140 for the series."
