In the video above, Rob Parker explains to Chris Broussard why he's disappointed in the New York Mets for unveiling their Tom Seaver dedication statue on Jackie Robinson Day.
Rob Parker: "The Mets have always shot themselves in the foot. People have always said that this is why they're a second-rate organization because they just can't seem to get it right. I get the Tom Seaver, Tom Terrific. I grew up in Queens; I grew up a Mets fan. He was a great pitcher and a Hall of Fame pitcher. There's no doubt about him deserving a statue and the Mets having a day for him is probably long overdue but you cannot do it on Jackie Robinson Day. And I think it was disrespectful and short sighted."
