Today on The Dan Patrick Show, Doug Gottlieb and Ryan Hollins filled in for the DP crew and reacted to breaking news confirming Ben Simmons' availability for game 4 in the Boston series. Hollins was adamant about Simmons' presence being needed, even if he can't contribute offensively, the big guard is a capable facilitator and body that can create some disruption to Boston's offensive flow.

Doug Gottlieb: "It's hard enough to play in an NBA game when you haven't played preseason games. But playing in a playoff game, that seems difficult."
Ryan Hollins: "We talked about it earlier, like they really need Ben Simmons. Simmons would be such a factor. Doug, if he scored no points, and it was all assists, and he just pushed the ball in transition, or he's just an extra body on Tatum... And I'll tell you this, I feel like the ideal spot for him to come in, is to kind of spell Andre Drummond's minutes. You don't make him be the four. let him be the five and defend. He could guard Al Horford easily and get some boards and push. It's a different dynamic with Ben Simmons in the line up and I don't think he has to score a point."
