Today on The Odd Couple, NBA Hall of Famer and founder of the ‘Ones Basketball League’ Tracy McGrady joined the show. Chris Broussard and Rob Parker asked McGrady to talk about what motivated him to start a national 1-on-1 basketball league, and who the league is geared toward. Plus, Tracy shares some insight into who he doesn't think would be the best 1-on-1 player.
Tracy McGrady: “I think as a basketball fan, from a competitive standpoint, you would love to see who the best 1-on-1 basketball player is. You know, we talk about MJ, we talk about LeBron being the greatest basketball player of all time, but that’s in a 5-on-5 setting. What about in a 1-on-1 setting? I don’t think LeBron in the NBA is the best 1-on-1 basketball player. He’s the greatest in the league, but I don’t think that when it comes to 1-on-1 basketball. I think there are some guys that can beat him in a game of 1-on-1...”
